Upon arrival at the Nad Al Sheba facility, you'll check in and be directed to changing rooms equipped with lockers, showers, and gear stations. All equipment — wetsuits, masks, fins, tanks, and BCDs — is provided and fitted by staff before your session. Certified divers must present physical certification cards; digital copies are not always accepted, so bring the originals.

The pool itself is visually extraordinary even before you enter. A vast glass-enclosed structure houses the 1,500 square metre underwater city set, visible from the viewing gallery. Once in the water, the temperature (30°C) feels surprisingly warm and comfortable. Recreational swimmers are escorted by dive guides in the shallower zones, while certified divers can descend freely to their certification limits. The sunken city — with its arcade machines, spiral staircases, and apartment facades — is meticulously designed for both exploration and underwater photography. Sessions are strictly timed; weekends and school holidays book out weeks in advance, so plan accordingly.

Deep Dive Dubai is located in Nad Al Sheba 1, approximately 15 minutes by taxi from Downtown Dubai and 20 minutes from Dubai Mall. There is no direct Metro connection, so a taxi or ride-hailing app (Uber/Careem) is the most practical option. On-site parking is available for those driving. Allow extra travel time during morning rush hours if you have an early session booked.
