Sunset slots (5–7 PM) offer the most dramatic views and are worth the slight premium if available. For those with a height or weight restriction, the experience unfortunately isn't accessible — check requirements before booking.

The full XLine experience lasts approximately 45 minutes to an hour from check-in, though the zip itself takes only 60 seconds. After checking in at The Walk, JBR, you'll be fitted with a full-body harness and helmet and given a safety briefing. A lift ride takes you to the 170-metre launch platform atop the JBR Twin Towers — the views from the top alone are worth the visit.

You launch in a horizontal, face-down (superman) position, giving an unobstructed view straight down over Dubai Marina's glittering waterway and yacht-lined canals. Acceleration is immediate and exhilarating; the 80 km/h top speed is reached within seconds. The ride ends with a smooth deceleration and landing at the lower platform at The Walk. Two parallel lines mean you can ride simultaneously with a companion. GoPro rental is available at the launch site for hands-free video capture. Weight restrictions apply: 40–110 kg, minimum height 1.5m, minimum age 12.

XLine Dubai is located in Jumeirah Beach Residence (JBR), Dubai Marina. The nearest Metro station is DMCC (Red Line), approximately a 10-minute walk to The Walk, JBR. The Dubai Tram also serves the area with a stop at JBR. By taxi or Uber, simply ask for The Walk, JBR. Parking is available at the nearby JBR public carpark. The launch tower is at the Amwaj Twin Towers, clearly visible from The Walk promenade.
